The Hawaiian sea urchin is a little brittle, but usually it’s only the smaller ones that are BRITTLE. I have treated it, so it is hardened. It is encased in a cage of stable sterling, further ensuring no damage. The hammered 14k gold filled bar piece is representative of the sun. 🌞 adorned with labradorite and hand forged findings. The clasp is beautiful all on its own and looks nice as pictured as well as at the back of your neck
